Yo

This one just wanted to exist. I called it Yo — because that's exactly the energy it came in with. A doodle on black canvas, loose and alive, the kind of thing that happens when you stop thinking and let the hand lead. The heart is in there, of course — it always finds its way in — tangled up with a wild little figure, both of them rendered in that electric blue that practically hums against the dark ground. The white line work underneath pulses like circuitry, or like something breathing. No grand statement here, just the honest joy of mark-making. Sometimes a doodle tells you more about where you're headed than a finished piece ever could.
